Spacetalk Life

Spacetalk Life has been specifically designed to keep seniors safe and connected. Spacetalk Life has no parental controls. Wearers decide who sees their location. Spacetalk Life doesn’t have School Mode or Reward Stars. Wearers can call or SMS anyone directly from the device.
Spacetalk Life Fall Detection is enhanced with AI technology and is personalised to the watch user to help identify falls. After a fall is detected it will alert the watch user and sound an alarm. It will give the watch user the opportunity to confirm that they are okay before it calls and notifies emergency contacts. After a fall is detected and emergency contacts have been notified the watch face will display your Medical ID for first responders.

It is important to note that Spacetalk is a consumer general wellness device, not a certified medical device. Spacetalk Life Fall Detection does not detect 100% of falls. If able, users should always push their SOS button when they need assistance. Spacetalk is not intended to replace a caregiver or medical attention for an individual dealing with health issues.
Fall Detection can be setup during the pairing process or after the pairing process via the Safety settings page. During this process it is advised that you answer all setup questions to ensure the most suitable sensitivity level is in place.
The sensitivity level can be adjusted in the Safety Settings under the watch profile. It is important to note that the pre-set sensitivity level is based on the information provided during the setup process.
Medical ID information is entered during the setup process. This information can be updated in the Safety Settings under the watch profile at a later stage.
When an incoming call is received, Spacetalk Life's screen will illuminate and details of the caller will be displayed. A green 'answer' button or red 'reject' button will be displayed. It is normal operation for the light on the dock to be off until a Spacetalk is connected.
To charge Spacetalk Life, it is recommended to connect the USB cable from the Charging Cradle to a 5V/1Amp USB power source.

2. Ensure Spacetalk Life is seated correctly on the charging cradle and the watch is not upside down and not meeting with the gold charging contacts.
3. Try connecting the Charging Cradle to a different USB power source to ensure the Charging Cradle is receiving power.
4. Attach the Charging Cradle to Spacetalk Life and confirm that the light turns to red after a few moments. This indicates that Spacetalk Life is charging.

At the clock screen, tap anywhere to access the watch menu. Then swipe from right to left and tap the Settings menu. Scroll through the list to Reset Watch. Spacetalk Life requires a PIN number to avoid accidental reset. The PIN number is the last four digits of the IMEI number. The IMEI number can be found in the Information menu.

Important: After the Spacetalk Life has been reset, the initial set-up procedure and watch pairing with the Spacetalk app will need to be repeated. If Spacetalk Life has been paired previously with the same account, when performing the pairing process the Spacetalk app will allow the apps previous settings to be restored.
The microphone is very sensitive and under normal background noise levels, you should be able to hold the watch 20-30cm away from your mouth and be heard clearly by the receiver. When the background noise level is high, you may find that you need to hold Spacetalk Life closer to your mouth.
The speaker level can be adjusted on Spacetalk Life by swiping down at the clock screen to reveal the volume level. Also, in the Settings menu icon under Sound, all the volumes including speaker volume, ringtone and notifications can be adjusted.
Adjust the brightness level of the display by swiping down at the clock screen and adjust the brightness setting.

Clean the Spacetalk Life watch display gently using a damp cloth. Also, completely power down Spacetalk by holding the power button for 5 seconds. Restart Spacetalk Life and check if it has improved.
While in a call, the volume control appears on the Spacetalk Life screen. Adjust the volume using this control.
Spacetalk Life has a high quality noise cancelling microphone that is designed for use 20-30cm from your mouth. Speak at normal volume levels into the microphone.
This is most likely due to the ring volume level turned down or off. On Spacetalk Life, from the clock face, swipe down to reveal the status screen. Tap the Volume icon to toggle between Silent, Vibrate or Ringtone and Vibrate.
The watch must be paired to the Spacetalk app first before contacts can be added. Follow the pairing instructions in the Quick Start Guide, or this troubleshooting section under Account and Adding a Device.
Spacetalk Life has been specifically designed to operate on the Telstra Network in Australia and Spark Network in NZ. This network operates on 4G Band 28a/Band 28b & Band 3 and 3G Band 5.

While Optus and Vodafone networks also use Band 3, their lower bands are different and 3G calling will not work.

We highly recommend using a SIM card from a provider that sell services that operate on the Telstra network. A list of recommended networks can be found in our Spacetalk Life Recommended SIM Card Plans.

In case you are experiencing poor coverage, first check with your SIM card provider about the network infrastructure they are using. Check the coverage in your area using the network operator's Coverage Map.
From the clock screen on Spacetalk Life, swipe down. The network signal strength and the network name should be displayed. If it isn't, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check to see if the SIM card has been inserted correctly. Follow the quick start guide instructions that can be obtained from the download section of this website.
2. Check that Flight Mode is not active.
3. Restart Spacetalk Life by holding the power button for 5 seconds and after Spacetalk Life has shut down, power Spacetalk Life up again.
4. Confirm that you are using a SIM card operating on the Telstra or Spark networks, or a provider reselling their network.
5. Confirm the SIM has been activated correctly. If in doubt, remove the SIM card from Spacetalk Life and test it in another phone. Check that voice, SMS and data are working.
6. Confirm if the SIM has valid credit. If necessary, recharge the SIM using the operators recharge process.
7. If available, try another SIM card in the Spacetalk Life watch.
When you update settings in the Spacetalk app, it is normal that these may take a few minutes for settings to be updated on Spacetalk Life.

If they don't update, please check that Spacetalk Life has a network connection, has credit on the SIM card, is able to receive SMS and has an active data connection.
Spacetalk Life will automatically check for a software update in the early hours of the morning. For this to occur Spacetalk Life should be left powered on and charging overnight. If an update is available, Spacetalk Life will automatically download and install overnight.

Simple cute smart watch

Bought this for my daughter couple months ago. This Spacetalk is a simple smart watch that match with what we need to keep us connected with our daughter during school or extra class after school. Worth for money considering the quality of this smart watch. My daughter was picking very quick how to use it and explore its menu/function. She loves the colour (blue) and keeps using it all the time away from home.

Peace of mind.

This is an amazing watch, the only negative I would give it is the battery life. I wish the battery lasted a little longer. I hope this could be improved in the future. This watch gives me peace of mind knowing my son can call me and I can call and track him.
